VELCURA

Effective date: August 20, 2026  ·  Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how VELCURA by ValueAI (“VELCURA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you use the VELCURA mobile application and related websites and services (collectively, the “Services”). VELCURA operates a marketplace that connects customers (“Customers”) with independent service providers (“Providers”) who perform in-person services on Customers’ vehicles or property.

1. Who we are

VELCURA is operated by VELCURA by ValueAI, based in Dallas, Texas. For privacy questions, contact us at help@velcura.app. We are the “controller” of the personal information described in this Policy, except where we act as a “processor” or “service provider” on behalf of Providers (for example, information a Provider stores about their own Customers).

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

2.1 Information you provide

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & app data: device model, operating system, app version, language, and unique device or installation identifiers.
  • Usage & analytics: screens viewed, features used, taps, session length, referring source, and interaction patterns.
  • Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, and error reports.
  • Approximate & precise location: if you grant permission, we use device location to match Customers with nearby Providers and to support service navigation. You can disable location access in your device settings.
  • Cookies & similar technologies on our websites, as described in your device or browser settings.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Sign-in providers (e.g., Sign in with Apple, Google) if you choose to register that way.
  • Payment processor (Stripe) — confirmation of payments, payouts, and limited transaction status.
  • Verification & fraud-prevention partners that help us confirm identity, insurance, or detect misuse.

3. How we use information

  • Create and manage accounts and Provider profiles;
  • Match Customers with Providers, facilitate bookings, and enable in-app communication;
  • Process payments, payouts, platform fees, booking fees, and cancellation charges;
  • Verify Provider credentials and insurance for the Verified Professional badge;
  • Display reviews, ratings, and job photos;
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes;
  • Maintain safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • Analyze and improve the Services, measure performance, and develop new features;
  • Send transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out);
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information as follows:

  • Between Customers and Providers: to complete a booking, we share the information each side needs (e.g., name, service address, vehicle/property details, contact method, and job photos).
  • Service providers & vendors: hosting, analytics, crash reporting, communications, mapping, and customer-support tools that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Payment processing: Stripe, as described in §5.
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • With your direction or consent.
Note on “sale”/“sharing” under state law. Some U.S. state laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include certain analytics or advertising disclosures. To the extent any of our analytics activity qualifies, you may opt out — see §9.

5. Payments & Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you add a payment method or set up payouts, your card and financial details are collected directly by Stripe and handled under Stripe’s own privacy policy. VELCURA does not store full card numbers. We receive limited information such as payment status, the last four digits of a card, payout confirmations, and amounts, which we use to operate the marketplace, calculate fees, and support disputes and refunds. Learn more at stripe.com/privacy.

6. Reviews, ratings & photos

The Services let Customers rate Providers, write reviews, and submit photos of completed work. This content — along with your display name and, where applicable, your city — may be visible to other users and the public. Do not include sensitive personal information in reviews or photos. You are responsible for content you submit, and you grant VELCURA the license described in our Terms of Service. You may request removal of your own content, though cached or republished copies may persist.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for a reasonable period to comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and fraud-prevention obligations. Transaction and payout records may be retained longer where required by law. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact help@velcura.app. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also manage much of your information directly in the app’s account settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. We disclose the categories in §2. We do not sell personal information for money and do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. To submit a request — including an opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” — email help@velcura.app with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” You may use an authorized agent, and we will verify requests before acting.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account by keeping your password confidential.

11. Children

The Services are intended for adults 18 years and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. Contact help@velcura.app if you believe a minor has provided us information.

12. International users & state-specific notes

VELCURA is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries where we or our vendors operate. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
